A Norwalk Migration at the Norwalk Public Library on Belden Ave

“A Norwalk Migration” is a 7 x 11 foot mural painted in oil and on canvas. The piece was commissioned for the Norwalk Public Library on Belden Ave. It depicts the story of an immigrant couple leaving their family and home country for the the USA, specifically Norwalk, CT. where they worked in manufacturing. Working hard and the American dream is represented by them playing and enjoying with their grandchildren on the right hand side. The Macaw, a symbol of Latin America is shown fully migrated and settled into Norwalk by its City Hall
